A literary society formed in 1916 by a band of like-minded men, including Ilyas Atallah, Nasib Aridah, Rashid Ayyub, Abd al-Masih Haddad, Nadrah Haddad, Gibran Kahlil Gibran, Amin Mushriq, Amin al-Rihani and William Catzeflis.
